"Blue Gardenia" was originally famously played by Nat King Cole in the 1953 film noir The Blue Gardenia. While traditionally performed as a ballad, Yotam’s reimagines it with a fresh rhythmic feel, blending reverence for the past with his own contemporary touch. The single not only pays homage to one of his musical heroes—whom he calls “the King of Song”—but also highlights his signature style: deeply expressive, virtuosic, and rich in global influences.
Yotam Silberstein's second volume in the Standards series will be released in Spring 2025. The first single is a beautiful rendition of ‘Just As Though You Were Here’ written by John Benson Brooks and Eddie DeLange. The song was a major hit for Frank Sinatra before becoming a beloved jazz standard played by the likes of Duke Ellington, George Shearing, and Barry Harris. Yotam's interpretation, played delicately on acoustic guitar alongside John Patitucci on bass and Billy Hart on drums, creates a warm and intimate soundscape.

Her upcoming single is a rendition of the jazz standard ‘Detour Ahead’. It offers a fresh yet soulful interpretation of the beautiful classic written by Herb Ellis, Johnny Frigo & Lou Carter. Her version features an all-star lineup full of incredibly talented jazz cats including legends pianist Kirk Lightsey, bassist Santi Debriano, and drummer Tommy Campbell, and organist Matt Smith.
